Consumption of tea can be as beneficial as water!

Many people 've a wrong perception about tea. People thought that drinking tea can cause dehydration in the body, so avoiding consumption of tea can be beneficial for body & health. However, the conception proved wrong, as the recent study reveals that as an everyday drink, tea has the same favorable & beneficial hydrating properties as water. 

This new study evolves with a survey that divulges - drinking 4-5 cups of tea in a day is as beneficial as drinking one liter of water for the body hydration. It sounds quite surprising, yet true! The survey was performed by Dr. Carrie Ruxton, an independent dietitian & nutrition adviser to the Tea Advisory Panel.

Dr. Carrie Ruxton said, "both the properties of tea & water is beneficial for human body. In taking of six cups of tea is an excellent way to maintain healthy fluid levels. Drinking tea also reduces risk of heart attack & disease. Thus, it could be considered as a healthy choice of brew. It can help to maintain proper hydration of body." 

Ruxton further said, "it is a very common delusion that tea can increase hydration risk because of the caffeine presented in it. No numerical differences were found between normal tea utilization & water when a wide range of blood & urine markers for hydration were tested among the volunteers. In addition, urine volume was parallel after tea or water, confirming that we don't urinate more after drinking tea." 

Other health benefits of tea include safeguard against tooth plaque & tooth perish, plus bone strengthening. A cup of tea contains fluoride, which is good for teeth & bones. Hence, it is clearly proved that drinking tea is good for health.
