A new research study claims that the ancient Chinese martial art "Tai Chi" may be an effective way to deal with arthritis problems. Also this art seems to bring relief from arthritis related pain.
According to researchers at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine, the form of Chinese martial art Tai Chi (aka Tai Chi Chuan) has the potentiality to bring balance of body & mind. The popular form of exercise can be treated for the painful disease arthritis. The art was followed to train Chinese warriors, but now, it can be best implemented for the treatment of arthritis.
The study conducted on 354 participants, who were diagnosed with arthritis, found that people following the course of Tai Chi were relieved from the pain. They were asked to go through eight week of Tai Chi training. The patients found tremendous result after the training as they had less pain, fatigue & stiffness. The researchers suggested that the ancient form of art can be an excellent solution for patients who are suffering from all types of arthritis including fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis & osteoarthritis.
