According the Canadian researchers at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal, if the A&E patients are given Vitamin C supplements for 10 days, show a drastic improvement in their state of mood. During the treatment, Vitamin C rich foods such as citrus fruits, green peppers, strawberries, tomatoes & broccoli, can be more effective for the A&E patients rather than any treatment.
The researchers said that the treatment is safe, simple & cheap to make well the patients, as the deficiencies of vitamin C & D are linked to psychological abnormalities. The study published in the journal Nutrition found that those who were administered with vitamin C, showed the positive result rapidly. However, no change was found after conducting the test for vitamin D.
